Monument Tools enters Industry Awards to demonstrate the long term commitment to the industry. They celebrate the achievements of both individuals and the business across a range of awards
BMF BMN Top100 – 50 Companies over 50
Monument Tools received this industry award in recognition of its longevity and resilience within the Builders Merchant sector. Originally starting as a tools and hardware shop in 1880 in the City of London, Monument Tools is now a 5th Generation family owned business employing nearly 60 people. Monument serves all parts of the merchant industry designing, manufacturing and marketing a range of professional quality plumbing roofing and drainage tools.
These industry awards took place at the Belfry hotel and were attended by both Anna Wilkinson HR Director and Jonathan Collier Managing Director – both 5th generation within the family business.
Small Business Growth Awards 2026
Monument Tools were Runner Up in the London area in the Family Business Award Category – sponsored by HSBC and Federation of Small Business. The Awards Ceremony took place at No34 Mayfair and attended by Jonathan Collier – Managing Director.
This industry award is for all our employees past and present, their hard work and passion working for a fifth generation family business.
BMJ 2026

This industry award was present by the Builders Merchant Federation and Builders Merchants News to the top influencers within the industry.
Monument Tools had two awards winners, Jamie Fisher (formerly Director of Sales ) and Jonathan Collier – Managing Director. This is a testament to the positive engagement with the industry by Monument Tools supporting the industry at conferences, members days, forums, awards and charitable events.
Tooltalk Reviews
Monument Tools partners with Tooltalk to work with the Monument Masters and also to garner independent product reviews.
This industry award was for the first Tooltalk client to reach 1000 product reviews. Monument is proud be be a UK manufacturer and the volume of 4+ star ratings for #MadeInBritain products shows the level of quality of the hand tools.
Rainy Day Trust – Benefactor Award
The 2016 Totally DIY Awards Dinner saw the Rainy Day Trust present a Benefactor Award to Jonathan Collier, Managing Director of Monument Tools. This is for the company’s outstanding contribution to the work of the RDT Charity over a number of years.
Andrew Weiss, former President of the Rainy Day Trust said: “We are extremely proud to be working with Monument Tools.
